OTTAWA FARMS - 3rd Generation Family Owned
The Waller family has owned and operated this farm since the late 1800’s.  Pete Waller, the owner, is the third generation to actually participate in farming this 700 acre farm.

Mr. Waller is the President of both the Georgia Strawberry Growers Association, and the Coastal Georgia Resource and Development Council.  He is also a member of the Georgia Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association, the Georgia Cattlemen’s Association, and a Chatham County Farm Bureau Board Member  He is on the Water Policy Planning Committee, and a past member of the State of Georgia Farm Service Agency and numerous other organizations.

Located in the Chatham County Georgia, known as the Coastal Empire.  The regions climate and unique soil provide the perfect conditions for growing.  The region is home to the world famous Vidalia Onions,  Peaches, Peanuts, and Cotton.

More Than A Farm . . .

Since our inception over a century ago, we've maintained the philosophy that Ottawa Farms is more than a "farm".  Before "being green" was a popular pastime, we've always tried to be good stewards of the land.  We open our doors and farm to several groups and events regularly, including:
